HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask Reviews: Scam or Legit?

I got this mask to try out the whole red light therapy fad going on with Chinese manufacturers. Seems like the latest low cost widget of the season to churn out in mass and chock to the US poor people market. I gotta admit, I felt extremely silly wearing this and doubt its effectiveness. HOWEVER, my review will be on the product and not on the effectiveness of this therapy.The mask looks and feels gross. There is something repulsive about the texture, look, and smell of this mask that is off putting. Its like a creepy social fiend aspect to it. Think of “The Skin I live In” meets Buffalo Bill dancing to Goodbye Horses from “Silence of the Lambs”.Despite that, I tried it on. Used the Auto feature and it was a very uncomfortable experience. The mask reeks of a plastic silicone odor. Its an offensive odor and I think my body was trying to warn me that this odor could be toxic because it felt offensive.The mask also gets really hot and sweaty. It was repulsive. By the end of the session, you will have to peel off the mask because it will get stuck with sweat. Again, some Buffalo Bill/Leatherface vibes minus the mantuck/mangina. Btw, don’t let your family find this mask, it will creep them out.The LED cycle mode is very uncomfortable. The LED’s are too close to your eyeballs, and it will penetrate your eyelids. Who knows what kind of damage my retinas were being blasted with. The red LEDs were too bright. After a session, your eyeballs will be hurting and trying to adjust to the light for a couple of minutes.Also, the Red LED’s only cycle for about 4mins, and then turn white, purple, yellow, etc…. not exactly the Red light IR skin treatment I thought this was. This just seems like regular led strips stuck on your face.Theres also a hygiene issue im concerned about. The mask seems dirty. The silicone interior is very tacky and sticky. I dumped half a bottle of alcohol to try and clean it off, but it still smelled and felt dirty.This weird floppy mask requires immediate washing after every use, but the problem seems that it is not meant to be washed because it doesnt seem like its water proof. The manuals and packaging reeks of 100% Chinese Domestic Market, and seems very alien. Its an odd and surreal product to use for sure.1 star for the product design, functionality, and ergonomics. Can’t rate whether this light treatment works or not, but I have a strong suspicion that it does not.

How does the old saying go? The road to Hell was paved with good intentions. Feel like that saying would apply to this product. This gave the wife massive and painful migraines, whether her eyes were closed or not. Nuff Said!

I use the red and blue light settings and have noticed my skin looks softer and has more clarity to it. It’s helped reduce sun damage and old scars.

 MY ⭐️RATINGS:4⭐️- I would recommend it as the one to get.I use the mask for Anti-Aging & Acne more than for lightening & smoothing. This isn’t my first light therapy mask. They all work, but you must be patient & consistent. If you are expecting immediate results or use the mask occasionally, it’s not going to work. Consistency is a massive part of any light therapy mask, as well as being patient.I keep track of each use in my phone calendar. I don’t do the same colors each night. I rotate between them all. I prefer every other night; if I can’t do it on a night I’m supposed to, I’ll do it the next day, and instead, it will be two days in a row. My point, I am consistent.Some masks suggest putting on a serum before using the mask, and that’s up to you. I do not use serums. I cleanse my face, use the mask for 20 minutes, and then apply my usual serums and moisturizer.The mask is excellent for keeping my skin rejuvenated and clear of acne.This Light Therapy Mask is exactly as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

So, I had seen these on Facebook and thought that I would give it a try. I have used it about 5 times now and have nothing but amazing feelings about it. The ease of use is the best thing for your skin care routine. After I shower at night, I put the mask on and just relax for 15 minutes as the light therapy does its job. I can tell a difference already in the tightness of my skin. It is also helping with brown spots I have as I can see them getting lighter.

I bought this for my sister and she was very pleased how comfortable it was and the fact that is was portable/reachable.

 This is an LED light therapy face mask that includes near infrared light (NIR) with each of the four available treatment modes (Red, Blue, Green and Red + Blue). The mask has an irradiance of 105 mw/cm², which is higher compared to similar face masks, and closer to those used in professional settings. Think of a weak vs. bright LED light. The recommended treatment time is 10 minutes 3-4 times per week. This is the most comfortable mask I’ve ever used, and I’ve used many. It’s made of a thin, flexible and very lightweight silicone. The cord doesn’t get in the way, and it’s portable which allows me to lie down comfortably or multitask. It’s breathable and the lights can get directly on the skin which delivers a more powerful concentration of light. One thing I’ve noticed is that because the strap pulls the mask upwards, which is very comfortable, it also creates a gap on the lower portion of the mask so that the lights don’t touch the skin. I also wish this had a timer or allow you to see how much time is left. It does automatically shut off but only if using the auto or semi auto mode, otherwise, the manual mode doesn’t have a timer or automatically shut off.

 Ordered it for my wife. First of all, it is not exactly cordless. There is a piece of cord that needs to be connected with the controller. It fits forehead very nicely and closely. But there’s a gap at the chin area. I did notice a statement saying “optimal distance for best glow effect “ in the picture. Probably that is why it doesn’t closely align with chin. My wife has just used it for a couple of times. Overall my wife likes it and is happy to put it on :)

This charged up quickly. Note it won’t turn on if it’s plugged in, must be unplugged from charging (but with remote attached). You can use it on manual where you choose the color or allow it to automatically pass through the various phases. I’ve a few different types of lights for my face and definitely enjoy using them. There’s a benefit for it amping up collagen production plus it feels good. The issue with this one is that it’s floppy. It doesn’t stay on behind my ears and just kind of hangs on my face. It comes with a strap, but I use it in bed so I don’t want to bother with that. All in all it works fine but I’ll probably keep my eye out for something less bulky.

I highly recommend this product bundle and the customer service is superb! The product would not light up following a charge and I contacted the product customer service directly. The promptly replied and shipped replacement product immediately. The replacement product works perfectly!

How do you breathe with it on? It made me somewhat uncomfortable for that reason.

 I love to try skin care treatments especially if I can try in my own home.Honestly there is so many amazing products out there that actually really do benefit the skin.After so much research on light therapy and controversy over its benefits, it seems most do believe there is benefits to the skin and the reason being is not clear though.Having the ability to do light therapy at home is a big bonus for me because it is time saving and cost affective.I use the red light therapy most for my mature skin type.The treatment schedule is very doable and takes only minutes a day.The instructions are clear and easy to follow.My only complaint is that the little ridges around the eyes don’t do a good job of blocking the brightness of the lights for me and is the reason for the four stars.If you want spa treatments at home on your schedule and for a reasonable price point this is certainly worth a try.

I may have received an used/returned item because the corner of the box was stained and had a strong perfume smell.The mask felt comfortable around the eye areas but did not fit properly for chin areas.It was a shame that I could not get it to work because it would not turn on.

What happened to the product reviews on this page? I read a lot of reviews on different face masks before I purchased this one. I’ve used it daily for about a week and I noticed HYPERPIGMENTATION on my forehead where the mask has made contact. I have perfect circles. CIRCLES. This item will be returned. A V O I D. Maybe this is why the product reviews have been taken down.

I have tried several different red light therapy devices, and this one might be my favorite so far. What I love about it is that it is super soft and comfy to wear, and that it is rechargeable so you can walk around wearing it rather than being tethered to an outlet. It also stores a lot smaller than the large hard plastic red light masks, which is nice. And, it has four different light settings to choose from for various applications ranging from aging to acne. Plus you can set a timer so it auto shuts off at 10 minutes (recommended treatment time) OR you can skip the timer and set it to wear as long as you like (recommended no more than 20 minutes). Instructions say to cleanse and exfoliate first, and to use only on bare skin with no products, then follow with serum. You can do things while wearing it, but the red light may bother your eyes. I personally just lie down with this on and give myself a little 10 minute relaxation session. I love this mask and am super excited about it and plan to use it regularly. Instructions say to start with three times a week and then gradually go up to a max of five sessions per week. It’s really nice quality, well made, with good instructions and a luxe presentation. Highly recommended!

HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask is a very nice LED mask! I like that it has the red, blue, green and purple light! The red and purple are VERY bright!I like this one because it does not have to be plugged into an outlet to use it! You can charge it up and then use it. I don’t think the battery last long though. I used it fully charged on the green light and red light-each just one session a piece and then it was dead and I had to recharge it. No biggie thoughI am however concerned about my eyes. These mask have eye holes and I see everyone keeps their eyes opened while using these masks. But it is bright! And I see spots while using it and after using it! I’m not sure how this is not something others are talking about? This is not the first LED mask I’ve used and I’m starting to get concerned about using these types of masks and my eye sight. But I do like the actual mask. It is comfy!

I think this flexible style is better than the flimsy plastic shields and big, heavy helmet types. This isn’t like the flexible foam ones either. It’s silicone, lightweight but with a solid feel, can be cleaned easily, has adjustable straps to secure, and has rims around the eyes for protection. I like that it’s cordless (charges via USB) and the attached remote is easy to use. I also like that this mask includes near infrared light and not just colored LEDs. I’m not convinced it produces results that make any of these masks worth so much money, but this mask is currently $179 plus an extra $50 off. I appreciate that I have the opportunity to give it a try. It comes nicely boxed and sealed.

I have used light therapy for a number of years now and do personally tend to lean towards a holistic approach rather than traditionally invasive procedures. This did fit my head well and the strap did offer an ample amount of adjustment which would most likely fit someone with a larger cranium than mine. I didn’t suffer any adverse effects or symptoms from using this for 10 minutes each day. The frequency and duration is different for each person and would have to be a personal choice. I’m pleased with the look and feel of t his one and will continue to enjoy the benefits I feel it gives me.

I’m going to update this with before and after photos around 30 days. My husband and I have actual night vision goggles that can see infrared light, so we tested it to see if it’s legit, and it is. We could see it in the night vision goggles but not to the naked eye, so it’s legitimate. It was really comfy and easy to use. I’ll update with results in 30 days.

This mask works well. Light therapy for face helps to reduce lines and puffiness.

Purchased the mask over 3 months ago. Am happy with the results. Do see some fading on a dark spot on my face. It is super easy to use and comfortable too! There’s no wires or plugs to worry about when wearing it. Do like their eye protection feature too! Did purchase a cheaper mask from a different manufacturer some months ago. It was a hard plastic, uncomfortable to wear, and hurt my eyes. Am happy with the results of this mask!

Battery doesn’t last long yet consistently and constantly charge it

Update, I do react to the silicone, but Higherdose is standing behind their product and allowing me to return. I have their sauna too and love it.

I waited to write this review as I hope it helps those who wanted the “fanciest” led mask but settled on this one.#1) any amount of red light helps with anti aging and is worth a big high five#2) I don’t have the budget for a $$$$ mask. I found this one and thought it looked good#3) I wonder about the amount of red lights in this one vs a luxury quality one.#4) it is quite inconsistent. Battery pack has to be at full 4 lights in order to use without plug, when it has been used that way for a few days it just stops working even though battery pack says 3 lights. So I have to recharge pack for a day and use temporarily tethered to a usb.Not a deal breaker but very annoying when the product is telling you it’s 75% charged but is actually 0% available.#5) I’ve used it about a month and I do think it’s worthwhile even with its idiosyncrasies (did I just get a bad one?)For my first dabble into the led light practice I am happy, though I wish I had a more reliable product.EDITED from 3 to 4 stars, as the company reached out to me and offered a full refund for the trouble I’ve had with the mask. So I may use that refund to repurchase and hope my second one doesn’t have the battery pack issue.

I wanted to start using an LED mask but could not afford the ones on the market. I found this one that not only has red light but also infrared which is what you need for it to be able to do it’s job! It came beautifully packaged, with a cable, remote and eye protectors that you insert on the mask. It got snug and comfortable and I used it for 20 minutes and absolutely loved it. So happy I found this affordable mask!

I wanted to return it but the window of opportunity was over. It’s difficult to assertain if the mask works in only one month.I’m very disappointed.

The red light part is fine but it came with these flimsy cloth attachments to put on your head. Luckily I had a set of velcro attachments from a set that I had that had just broke. Its cheaper than the $300 set and now I know why.

Does not last long . It seems like connection comes loose quick and it keeps flickering not working properly .

So towards the end of 2023 I fell into that whole “New Year, New Me” trap and started rapid ordering any and everything short of a plastic surgeon that would give me a new body and face. This was one of those purchases. I don’t know what I expected but this little mask is AMAZING. I’ve been using it consistently for about a month now and my skin has transformed. I did some research on the colors and figured out which ones I wanted to play around with. I ultimately landed on green in the morning and red at night for 20 minutes, not 10. No particular reason, I just don’t follow directions well and tend to do the most. Blue is not for me because it temporarily enhanced dark spots and I’m not about that life so…yeah.I get a lot of compliments on my skin now…it’s glowing, it’s clear, etc etc etc. The fact that the mask is wireless and pretty flexible opens a whole world of productivity. I can drink my wine, make a green smoothie, tidy the house–all while beautifying my situation. Definitely a worthwhile investment, especially compared to similar masks that cost 3-4 times as much.

I purchased to help with fine lines around the eyes and mouth. The mask openings were too large rendering it useless. I don’t know if it worked on acne. Battery life was no issue. Other similar items covered the neck which would have been a great feature.

Comfortable fit for standard size face. Contours to your face. Automatically has both NIR and Red light which is nice. Rechargeable battery works well.

This is easy to charge and start using right away. Both my husband and I started using this. It’s comfortable to wear. We’re looking forward to seeing the results!

So I waited 4 weeks to review this because I wanted to make sure I gave it enough time to view possible results.Here is what I can tell you so far:-I used it 5 days a week for 10 minutes at a time.-I used the strongest light.-The charge lasted the whole time. It seems to last 60 minutes on one charge.May skin appears to be a little brighter and my age spots a bit lighter.I am hoping it continues to improve the appearence of my skin. We shall see.

I’ve used HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask for almost a month now. I feel like it helps rejuvenate my skin and I have younger looking skin. It’s a good pricing considering that I have to pay just as much for a facial.

I received my HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask without a lot of the accessories. I reached out to customer service as instructed on the box and was greeted with concern and the want to fix the issue. Once receiving the new complete box, I had another question as to proper use. I again was meet with a quick and thorough response.Instructions included are a bit vague.*I have now been using the device a bit over 3 times a week and have seen an improvement in my skin tone a texture. I am extremely happy with the ease of use and the results this at home device gives.

I got this mask and it worked for a month and then stopped working. Seems like the cord is faulty

I used the mask each day for the first 12 days that I had it. I recharged it one day and when I tried to use it the red light flashed on and off. It wouldn’t stay on so I returned it.

I’m claustrophobic and this mask does not cause any anxiety or panic feelings whatsoever. It’s extremely comfortable and adjusts easily to every head /face size. Haven’t used it long enough to know how it will help skin texture, firmness etc. but I’ve used red light therapy devices for various other issues and will attest to the fact it does help stop pain of all kinds and does work.

The product is wonderful. With the days shorter I use this every morning and night to give Myself a boost. It has 3 different settings and I use my cream immediately following the 10 min session. Get you one of these today if you don’t already have on. Husband’s this is great for your wife

I purchased this item over a month ago but just took it out of the box to try it and I could not get it to work so I contacted their email address for help. Beth was extremely helpful in trying to get the product to work but after trying all of her suggestions it was still unsuccessful. At that point Beth had another item sent to me and I received it quickly. It works great! I would definitely recommend this product for their efficient customer service.

My mistake, many of the reviews discussed seven colors so I assumed this one had all on board, but I was mistaken seems fine, can’t speak to the benefits, but the quality seems OK. I would’ve bought the other one if I had known this was the single red light therapy.

This mask along with a basic skin care routine, (cleansing and moisturizing the face) is what is keeping my face as clear as it’s ever been. As a very busy person, I needed something that would be quick and easy for a daily routine. I love all the light settings, especially how you can add infrared light in addition to any of the other LED lights. I can tell my skin is brighter and clearer and I don’t breakout as easily as before.

I was looking for a good led face mask with a reasonable priceI and I found this one, it’s confortable, easy to wear, I have been using it 3 times a week. I really love!

Not 100% sure this does anything yet but the fit and functionality are great compared to other masks for the price, especially if you don’t have the tiniest nose. The Near-IR is there as it shows up on my camera but I can’t see it otherwise. This is so much easier than trying to sit still under some screen with goggles on. While not recommended, I can walk around with this and handle my kid issues.

As an esthetician, I really like this LED mask. The soft silicone makes it comfortable and red LED is excellent for collagen. We even used the LED on a skin irritation my husband had.

It smells like a Lysol wipe.I may be imagining things but my skin feels better after the first use. I did 10 min red light and then 10 min near infrared.Update:I feel like I’m having unusually good results. They say it takes weeks or months to see results. I got this because of a line that developed above my dominant eyebrow.Day 2 I felt like my skin was starting to match my body. My face is several shades darker than the rest of my body. I hold a tan for a very long time. I still have swimsuit lines, it’s December and I live in MN. Day 3 that line above my eyebrow is starting to disappear.I wanted to use it for a fine line that suddenly appeared on my previously wrinkle-less forehead (which no one claims to see) but I really feel like my skin is softer. I have inflammation on my chin and it seems reduced which is nothing I expected for it to do. Today however, now I’m embarrassed that I was pointing out the line to someone and when I got home it’s barely visible even to me now.The dimensions feel like it was made for my face. It does feel a little heavy on the forehead and it sits further away from my chin but still covers the whole thing. The proportions are perfect.I’m 44, I would describe my skin as peanut butter colored. I seriously could probably use it as foundation. I’m african american, that may be a little advantage but I don’t drink or smoke and never haveI’d say try it. I feel like it did something right away. I opted to get the 2 year protection since some had battery issues

With simple and straight-forward instructions, this device is very user friendly. I could improve my skin with just 10-minutes daily use. I am yet to see the long-term results, but so far so good and happy!

Edit: customer service was great. I sent them the receipt of my purchase and they are replacing my mask. You have a one year warranty. Be sure to never handle the mask by the wire as this is where the problem was.I LOVED this mask!!! But it just died on me. Bought in December 31st and stopped working December 13th

My skin looked different, and I could tell something was happening, but I could hear a frequency noise! I didn’t like that AT ALL.

I can’t speak to how well red light therapy works. They say it does, and i believe them. But I can speak to the comfort and use of this, as I have used a bunch of these masks. I thought this one would be super comfy because it is flexible, but it wasn’t as comfy as I had hoped. It does tighten enough over my head – I have a small head and some of them just don’t get small enough, but this one does. It is VERY bright – the other ones I can wear comfortably without eye protection and read while red-lighting or something, but not this one. Even with the provided tanning goggles, I had to keep my eyes closed. I suppose that’s good for effectiveness, but definitely plan to use it lying down with eyes closed.

The light doesn’t cover my nose…. Kind of weird to do your whole face and not the nose. Might have to return for the price

I used it religiously six days a week at 20 minutes a day for 6 weeks. I took pictures of my face up, close magnified and then took pictures again after six weeks absolutely no difference.

This is a great mask at a great price! It is comfortable and has many choices in treatment.It really helps brighten the skin and noticeably heals as well.

This facial mask is excellent because it covers your hold face. It takes shorter time to get the results of a tighter and glowing face. ✨️

I thought this product because my Omnilux failed one week after the warranty ran out. I was so upset. Anyway, I found this and thought I’d give it a try. It seems to be exactly the same thing and the price was good. I can’t tell you if it’s making a difference yet but I can’t tell you the battery doesn’t last. Constantly have to charge it. That’s kind of annoying. I will grab it when I have the time to put it on and it won’t work. So then I charge it and forget to use it for a couple days and then it won’t work again.

It seemed to tick all the boxes – lots of LED bulbs in the right IR and NIR wavelengths. The portable power pack is nice. The eye protecting glasses that came with it are VERY uncomfortable. I do not use them, just lay back and close my eyes. However, it doesn’t seem to be working. I have used it religiously for 3 months while also taking Collagen I & III powder. It is too late for me to return it but I will probably buy another brand that is more well known.

This is the second time I have used this with a serum! For 10 minutes and my face was burned!!! I thought it was something else but didn’t use for a while just did it again- and got the same results – not sure if your suppose to do it for 5 minutes vs 10- just be careful !

I was so excited to receive this. I did my due diligence and research so many of these products. I couldn’t afford the creme de la creme of these devices (Omnilux) so I settled on this version. I received it quickly, read all the instructions and started using it. For three weeks I was satisfied with the results, especially with the green light option. For the last three days when I press the button it won’t sustain it’s timer of 10 minutes and shuts off after 30 seconds. I re-read the instructions and tried again. I contacted support services and IMMEDIATELY got a response from customer service (on a Sunday) from Beth. They sent me out a replacement device immediately and were so kind. I have never had such great customer service. Amazing!

I’m loving this red light therapy mask that I can use in the comfort of my own home. This mask is AMAZING and really does give results. It’s easy to use and very comfortable to wear. I use it at least three times a week, sometimes more. I feel so relaxed and calm when I use it , and it completely makes me feel rejuvenated. I’ve been using this mask for awhile and I can honestly say I’m noticing results. It’s helped reduce my redness, made fine lines fade, and gives a brighter complexion. My skin tone looks a lot more even now as well. It’s done more for me than any skincare product has. If you haven’t tried a red light therapy mask yet, just do it. I know it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

This mask is so easy to use and has quickly become part of morning routine. I’ve been looking for ways to add more biohacking and simple mood boosting tips to start my day and this is exactly what I needed. I like the mask, i think its high quality, easy to use, and comfortable but it doesn’t cover my chin at all because the mouth hole is so large. Most of my acne/skin problems are on my chin so i will be returning only for that reason

I gave this a 4 only because the eye area is a little uncomfortable. I used the eye covers so maybe I will not use them and it will be more comfortable. I am an advanced red light user. I have panels from Hooga, which are actually better than a mask in terms of efficacy. I have also tried Omnilux mask, Current Body, Pure Luma and a couple of other off brands. I was able to return them all because there was a 30 day window. You want to make sure you check the number of bulbs, the irradiance and wattage. This is a very good mask, very good quality. There is no reason why these companies are charging $300-$1200 for these masks. The only difference is that some masks have more bulbs and that raises the price. They are all made the exact same with the same silicone, same strap material. I would like to mention that all the masks I tried had very cumbersome straps. That was the main reason for returning them. Someone here commented on poor customer service. I have not experienced that. Also, the return policy is almost too generous. It is 90 days. That is amazing. If you are looking for a convenient, comfortable mask this is it.

Fits well. This is more comfortable than my Omnilux mask was. Also it has more lights.

Quality of this product is lacking. There’s no indication or warning that tells you the battery life and it will all of a sudden stop working in the middle of your treatment. Plus the instrument that goes over the top of your head always leaves an indentation on your forehead. I’m returning the product for something different.

I like this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask because it has a lot of choice of led for different skin conditions in one mask and it’s fairly priced. It seems sturdy and looks like will last a long time. Highly recommended.

My esthetician uses red light therapy on me and I love it, so I decided to invest in one to use at home. I love this because it helps with reducing wrinkles, scars, redness, and acne. I have acne-prone skin that need extra care and attention. Red LED light penetrates the skin known as fibroblasts, which play a role in the production of collagen, a protein that makes up a large part of connective tissue and helps the skin to recover when it’s harmed. I love the science behind this and I recommend it.

I received this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask on September 8th and started using immediately and as per the directions. My skin needed some major tlc because I had a wedding I was going to be in this past weekend in October. After a few uses I started to see some results. After a few weeks my skin had cleared up and wasn’t as red and patchy. I didn’t need to wear a ton of make up at the wedding! I will continue to use the product and my daughter also uses it as well! I did A LOT of research and this one ticked all the boxes. It has infrared, the correct wavelengths, and is wireless without an awkward power bank to tote around. It’s comfortable and since it’s flexible it can be used everywhere- I use in my abdomen, neck/chest, and it’s big enough for both hands!

HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask is easy to use first of all, I put it on for 20 minutes in the morning while I’m doing my sit-ups with the attachable straps it stays in place.The red light I use a lot it really builds collagen and does make my fine lines less noticeable and helps with my eyes lines as well. I also like the blue for any break outs I might have keeps them under control.I have used light therapy for a long time and this product is the best I’ve ever used.

Don’t buy this product. The description says it has infra light and amber light which is not true . It only has deep red and red. They addedInfra light so that they can sell it with a higher price.

I have always wanted a red light therapy mask for my house and I absolutely love this one. It is a great price point, easy to follow instructions, and feels super relaxing! This is the best Red Light Therapy device I’ve used for my face. It’s super bright and I can feel some infrared warmth while it’s on. It comes with a little battery pack that has a button to turn it on a 10-minute or 20-minute timer. The battery lasts a long time—I can get countless sessions in before it dies. There are some masks that offer blue light too. I’ve tried a couple of them and prefer the red and infrared light. I’ve often seen blue light touted as the best for acne, but I’ve noticed that red light works for acne and more. Since red light penetrates deeper into the epidermis, it’s a more beneficial use of my time.I’ve been using this mask about every other day for the last three weeks, and my skin actually looks better and clearer than when I began using it. I’ve most enjoyed using this mask in the morning before getting ready for the day. The red light is energizing and stimulating. It’s a feel-good activity to start the day. Because it rests against the skin, I always use it with a clean, dry face without any facial product. The inside of the mask is made of a silicone material that is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. It’s a flexible mask that could work for any place on the body. The straps are velcro and keep it on your head. It’s easiest to attach the 5 skinny straps first, then take it on and off with the large velcro pads on the back of your head.In the promo photos for this product, it shows the models using this mask with their eyes open. Lasted just 2 weeks past the 1 year warranty and died. The remote was always finicky. Now if that remote turns on at all, it turns off when you plug the mask USB into it. Sigh. I thought this was a quality brand. Guess I was wrong. Very disappointed.

This silicone mask has such a great design and is a marked improvement over the hard plastic led light therapy masks. It’s lighter on the face and way more comfortable. I have a flatter face. Also because the silicone is softer and more pliable, it sits closer to the face and the light is more intense; although it does get a little hotter. I don’t mean the lights actually heat- they don’t. But it can get a little sweaty with the silicone touching your entire face. It’ll probably be fine in the winter.I don’t wear this mask and do chores or watch tv. The light bother my eyes and I get headaches. I always just close my eyes and lie down and relax when doing any light therapy. I just count it as part of my de stress time.This mask is pricey. The quality is there though. I’m a huge fan of red light therapy, I’ve been doing it since 2008 when I would go into a salon and purchase 20 minute sessions for $40. So considering I used to do that, this is a deal. But I know these types of items are flooding the market so there are deals to be found. This particular unit is very high quality. I hope the company stands being their product down the road. Everything is fine and dandy the first month, we’ll see and I’ll update if something breaks prematurely. But all indications point to this lasting a long time.

This product is comfortable and easy to use. I find it very relaxing to use for the 20 minutes. I prefer to lie down and be comfortable. Regarding the performance success, I will not be able to determine for now but am committed to continued. Seems legit.

No better than a cheapo plastic shell oneSo I bought this because I have little time and wanted to combine my biohacking with work hours so I could do this more often. My plan was to use this with my portable sauna and or yoga. It’s not great. The mask is pretty uncomfortable no matter how you adjust it – pulling into my forehead and pushing on my top lip, and it’s barely fastened. Also, there’s no way on gods green earth you’re doing anything with this on, like read, watch YouTube, etc. or work because you can’t see anything. The whole reason I didn’t get stand up lights is because I didn’t want to take a break for it, but that’s the only way.Debating if I should wait to see if I see any results, or send it back to get something way cheaper since this is so disappointing in design

I received this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask after returning the one I bought beforehand, I love that it’s light and comfortable to wear and it works so well. It sets very close to your skin and feels so good when the LED Treatments are on…love it.

This mask is the perfect way to diffuse and just zone out for 20 minutes after a long day. My kid knows, when the mask is on, be quiet and leave me alone. I feel like I’m sunbathing with this on and hope to see some of the skin benefits soon. I will update my review if/when that happens.

I have one that was under $50, another one at $100, and one that is around the same price of $200. This is by far the most comfortable and easiest to use. This one is WAY DIFFERENT and it solved all my pet peeves with all the other masks I have tried. This one is super comfortable and fits like a dream.IT STAYS IN PLACE.The biggest issue with most masks is that are a plastic shell and they don’t stay in place. They have arms as you would find on glasses and if you have a smaller face/head, it just falls off and you need to lay down for it to work properly. This one stays in place with flexible straps that can easily be adjusted to fit your face and work for every size. There is also a set of light-blocking goggles.This light mask is easy to use and works well. It may take a couple of weeks to actually see results. I have been using another mask for over a year and it really helps reduce redness. It also helps with collagen production and I swear that fine lines have really faded, especially around my mouth and eyes. Again, the results are from another mask that I have been using the last year but this one makes it easier and is way more comfortable.I love that you don’t need to connect to a power source and the battery is a small power bank. You can also plug this into a direct power source and this supplies you with a brick and adapters for most worldwide outlets. The directions for use are clear and the pre-sets make it super easy to get everything right. I am up to 20 minutes but I recommend starting at 5 minutes to see how your skin reacts. It will not work when directly plugged into an outlet. The charge lasts for about 4 hours. Red light reduces inflammation and promotes blood circulation. There are 62 bulbs that have 2 components that release 660nm and 830nm.

I purchased this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask to try because it was a reasonable price. I have used it as recommended and after three weeks can see improvement in my skin texture. I am making it part of my skin care regime. It’s easy, enjoyable and makes a difference.

The product is well made but very soft on the skin! It had 8 types of light but I could not figure out how to change the light settings. It seems quite powerful. I however am a bit clostrophobic and could not use it. The product however is easily returnable and refundable. I had high hopes of using the product but due to me on inadequacy I was not able to.

Wow! Ok! This Red Light Mask is just so cool! I have done lots of research about red light therapy and I’ve used several other kinds of red light masks in the past. This face mask is EXCEPTIONAL!The packaging this comes in, is Fabulous! So gorgeous for gifting it keeping for yourself of course! The box comes with Europe plugs and I think some other country plug but I’m not sure for which country(s)? There are 3 different kinds of plugs in the box! So Amazing! In the box there is also a full sleek instruction manual! Again, every item in this box down to the booklet is Prestige!!!I did charge my mask overnight, just because. I think it only requires 4 hours for the first charge if I remember correctly?First, I did struggle with getting this onto my face. I did need my husband to help me with the side straps and securing them. After he helped me we realized that the side straps really never have to be adjusted again. There is a top strap that goes over top your head and then to the very back of your head. This strap comes loose and you can then just slide the entire mask Over the Top of your head to get it off. Oops, my mistake in the beginning. But, I’m glad it ‘clicked’ in my head.The mask has a long yet thin/sleek handle with your timer button on it. It has 10 minute and 20 minutes to choose from. I used 20 my first time. I have experience using red light therapy though and I know how and how long to use it for, for my skin.This mask was super comfortable! I loved it! I do love it! I started using this Red Infrared light on July 30th to improve anti wrinkles. My skin was clear nice and no break outs. Within a week of using this product, I wanted to return this mask because I started breaking out. I decided to stick with using the mask to see if I this was just temporary. It was NOT temporary, and my skin has gotten worse after using continuously. I want to cry knowing it made a mess out of my face and now I’m going to the dermatologist to see options. I have been breaking out all around chin and jaw area and even my ear lobes broke out! I followed all the steps and I even disinfected the mask after every use.

I have not traveled with this yet, but I can see it being easy to pack due to the flexibility.Red light therapy for the face specifically takes time, and this is something you will wanna keep up on because the results will not last after just doing a few sessions and stopping. I have been using the Higher Dose Red Light Therapy Face mask for 2 weeks and I am so impressed with the results. I wasn’t expecting to see much of a difference in such a short amount of time but I did! My skin looks more youthful and vibrant since wearing the mask. HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask is quite nice, and flexible. It works pretty well to get the red light just on my face, much better than the large lights. The material is pretty flexible, allowing it to be bent to my face, and there are cut outs for the eyes, nose, and mouth, which is convenient. It seems well made and has held up through many uses so far.

I am mid 30s and have noticed significant changes in my skin in the last couple of years. Looking for a product that will help slow down the aging process and maybe help even out skin tone I was excited to try this product.I want to start off with saying that I have seen some positive changes in my skin. My fine lines are still there. However, they don’t seem as deep. I usually get a good amount of make up that likes to settle in those creases which make them look more dramatic by the end of the day, and I’m not seeing as much make up in these areas since using this. I did not see any impact for the first couple weeks, but then I started to see more and more that my skin was clear and smooth, and I did not have odd colored patches. I have a small scar on my chin that has significantly faded since using this, at first, it was more of a red color, and now it is almost skin color, and hardly noticeable. This thing definitely works!There isn’t a lot of instructions with the packaging, I definitely had to go watch a few videos on how to attach this thing. But it is pretty straightforward. My kids are absolutely terrified of me when I have this thing on, it’s a perfect way to take a 20 minute mental health break from the little ones.

I have used this mask about 6 to 7 times, and so far I feel like it has had some positive benefits. I leave it on for about 15 minutes, with the timer automatically shutting it off being super convenient! It doesn’t get hot at all, and feels pretty snug and comfortable when on. I like that it’s portable, so you don’t have to necessarily be plugged in and can go about your day. I haven’t been using it as often as I should, but I will be putting it back into my regular skin care routine. I do feel that after I use this mask, my skin doesn’t feel or look as red, and it actually feels a bit softer. I will be updating with more long-term benefits as I use it more frequently.

I own one other red light therapy mask and I actually prefer to use this one. I specifically like this red light therapy mask due to the overall weight being really light. The only thing I dislike about this mask is the aesthetics of it are not appeal what so ever. I also really like the portable aspect of this mask, it includes a power supply so you can bring it on the go, if needed. I don’t really find that it provides pain relief, since my face never hurts. But I do feel like it helps prevent acne/oily skin. My skin has been really clear ever since using this face mask. The brightness is very strong, you should avoid looking directly into the light. The price is a bit more expensive than other options on the market, but most options don’t include a power supply.

This should really come with instructions on how to use it. The quality seems good and I don’t see any differences yet but I will keep using it.

HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask is surprisingly intriguing. After the first couple weeks of recommended use I did notice that my skin was more clear than usual and felt smoother. I have a dark spot on my face that nothing else would work to fade and this is the lightest shade I have seen that spot. As I use it more the results are becoming more apparent. The mask itself is generally easy to use. The cord that attaches to the mask is too short for convenience purposes. So you have to set the controls first then put the mask on. Easy enough to get used to but switching controls requires you to take the mask off first or use a mirror. That’s the only thing about it that needs improvement. You can use this sitting standing or laying down. The straps that secure it to your head are comfortable and supportive. Overall I think this is a good investment. The results speak for itself. Being consistent and having a routine is key. Would recommend.

HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask would not start after charging. Therefore, I never got to use the device. Very disappointed because I really wanted to try the product.

I bought this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask direct from the company. I absolutely loved it until it stopped working. I emailed the company and they asked me to send a video. I emailed them a video and then they asked for another video. Not sure how many videos I need to send to show the mask does not work. Needless to say, customer service never handled the issue. I will be buying from a different company.

I have been using this for a couple weeks now and have already noticed a difference in my skin. I had these little bumps on my forehead which I could not get rid of with anything I tried and after is started using this mask they are almost completely gone!! I also see a difference in my forehead wrinkles it is subtle but it has only been a couple weeks. I haven’t changed any of my skincare so I know for sure it is this mask!! This is such a gamechanger for my skincare routine. I will be continuing to use this mask and I’m sure I will continue to see more results in the coming months. The mask is so comfortable to wear it comes with a battery pack so you can walk around and use it or you can plug it in to the wall.

I like the quality and function of this but not the poor instructions for it. The manual tells what it is and what comes in the set but not really how to use it or the items that come with it. This is the kind of item that definitely needs better, more detailed instructions for it to be safe to use. For those who are familiar with how these work it won’t be an issue but for first time or inexperienced users it presents a problem. Other than that I’m pleased with it.

It sure is a legitimate red light therapy device and it sure is a really bright one. I’m glad it comes with a power bank as well so I could walk around the house while it’s attached to my face. As for the price though, it’s quite pricey compared to others in the market with the same specification.I’ve used this for a couple of weeks now and I can see slight improvements such as my scars lightening and I feel confident that the more I use this the better the results.The power bank lasts around 40 minutes of use and that’s good enough because usually, people only need 10 mins per session, I personally do 20.

Infrared has extremely promising data to back up It’s healing properties. I use infrared technology for myself and my family, and also for my pets. Infrared light can heal injuries, faster, reduce inflammation, and promote cell turnover. I have seen a noticeable improvement in blemish healing from using this mask. I do 20 min a day. No improvement in wrinkles but definitely in healing.

Love this HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask. Easy to use and very durable. Super impressed with the results. I would recommend it.

 The only thing I didn’t like was the instructions, really nothing more than a pamphlet with pictures of what is in the box. Looked online and nothing to it. Put the white straps on mask, eye pieces on, put the mask on, plug it into the power box or a USB plug in and set the timer. To get results you have to do this at least 5 times a week for 15 to 20 minutes. No biggie just do it while watching TV. You can wear it with a clean face or use moisturizer or serum as long as it’s not greasy. I prefer to do it clean faced than moisturizer. Am looking forward to see if this works. I have read it takes 4 to 6 weeks for results.

My husband calls me Darth Vader when I put on this mask (which pretty much is what I look like), but after just a week of use for 10 minutes a day I have noticed an improvement in my complexion. I like that this is portable and you can just charge the battery pack and use wherever. The one downside is i feel like the placed the timer/on off button just a little too high on the cord making it difficult to see what the buttons are when you have the mask on.

I was so excited to put this to use! Red light therapy treatment in the comfort of my own home. The product is beautifully packaged in a sturdy, reusable box. The construction is sound and the mask is comfortable to wear. I would absolutely recommend and give it give 5 stars 🤩

I have used red light therapy to help with scar tissue on my belly, and really loved it. I ordered this for some scarring on my face and to help tighten aging skin. It is crazy looking, but it feels wonderful. It suggests 15-20 min a day, 4-5 times a week to start and then 2-3 times a week once you see results. I actually look forward to using it. It is really soft and comfortable, and Velcro straps securely hold it on. The battery pack charges it so you don’t have to be p[lugged in while using it. So far, I have seen a big reduction in redness on my face and that is only after one week!! I can’t even explain how wonderful it feels while using it, gives me a huge mood boost. It really is worth every cent!!

I love this. It feels like quality super easy to use. I love that it is portable. So if you have thing to do around the house you can still wear it with no worries. Straps are easy to put on. It’s nice that it comes with a bag to store everything so you don’t lose any parts. Only con is the remote on yhe cord sits way up near the mask which makes it hard to look at after mask is already on ig you want yo change any of the settings. Could be moved down 8-12 inches and it would be perfect. Will update after some use to see if I see any progress.

I’ve used dozens of red light therapy/Near infrared lamps and other devices for pain and skin issues – especially with face eczema; it’s difficult to balance them between getting too close and uncomfortably hot, or so far away they’re ineffective…This mask keeps the lights close to the skin, but also doesn’t get overly warm. It definitely gets some leakage around the eyes and can be a bit too bright on the highest setting, but the included cups do cut a lot of the light out.There are two sets of the silicone eye cups included, as well as the Velcro straps and soft carry bag. The straps can be a bit confusing to assemble, but are comfortable and soft with enough length for even larger heads/hairstyles. The power options include a USB wall adapter, or the included power bank – itself a good size.The remote is in-line with the cable, and controls the power level, timer, etc. It can be a bit hard to actually use due to the lights partially blinding you, but if you memorize the buttons or start it up before putting it on. It does warm up a little, but if following the instructions and washing beforehand you likely won’t notice much.The price is the biggest downside, but is also pretty common for devices like these; I’d say it’s worth it if recommended for things like eczema or psoriasis by your doctor, but otherwise would wait for it to be discounted a bit.

I am not well informed on how to use this or what it truly does. I’ve heard about them and decided that I was curious to try.I’ve heard a lot of talk about their benefits and I wanted something that was helpful beyond just beauty. And I understand that red light therapy is supposed to be calming and helpful with your mood.So I tried it last night before bed. Been having trouble sleeping lately so I felt it was great timing.I don’t know what the settings are for or what they supposedly do since the instructions didn’t provide this information. So I put it on the second highest setting for 10 minutes.The eye pieces make an odd indentation afterwards but it goes away quickly.I feel asleep within 10 mins after my session. And my face felt nice.This morning my husband said I looked really pretty and asked if I was wearing makeup. I only had lip balm on. He said my skin looked like I was wearing makeup. It does have a really healthy glow to it.Then my dad said I looked nice today. He said that he doesn’t see me with makeup on very often… again, no makeup. I told him it was a red light mask and he wants to get one. LolSo, that’s only 1 time using it and getting compliments on my skin’s appearance. And it’s not supposed to show results until a few weeks of use. So idk… but I’ll take it!Along with mood boosting properties and restful sleep, I am really pleased with it!It came well packaged in a giftable box. A mask, wall charger, power bank for on the go use, 2 types of eye pads and a carrying bag for travel.Definitely a gift to receive!

The overall presentation of the box is nice, the device / mask is well made. There are three velco straps, two for each side of the face & one for over the top of the head, to help secure the mask while wearing it. There are two pairs of eye pads that help in blocking the LED red light from your eyes during the treatment. There is also a portable power bank which you will use to power up the mask. There are 5 level of light intensity you can choose from. You can also adjust the timer from 10 mins (recommended for first timers) to 20 mins.Overall, the device is easy to use but there are couple issues for improvement:1) The box comes with a little booklet about the device but there aren’t any instructions on how to set the device up. I had to search and watch someone else’s video to learn that instead.2) In the device I received, the control unit is only 6 inches from the mask. It is way too short (to bring it to the front of my face) and impossible for me to make any adjustments to the light intensity or timer while wearing the mask. When I looked at the advertising photos from the brand, the controller is showing at least a foot away from the edge of the mask.3) It will be great if the device remembers your last settings for the intensity and timer. Every time when you unplug the mask wire from the portable power bank, the device resets the light intensity to the highest level 5.It is a relatively easy device to use but has room for improvement. As far as the results from the therapy, it will take times to tell. But so far I have not seen any negative effect or skin irritation from using this LED mask.

It stays put well enough when on that you can do chores while wearing it.It’s quite relaxing to use, even if the other benefits only come slowly and with very regular use.

I really love this mask except the cord wasn’t strong enough—it pulled away from the infrared unit just last week only after 2 months use. And the eligibility for it to be returned just has passed. Very frustrating. Too expensive to work such a short time.

I haven’t used HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask for long but am already pleased with how well it’s made. The straps are really easy to velcro and the mask is sturdy, yet comfortable. The lights are definitely bright, but the goggles prevent that from being an issue. The cord is super long so you don’t need to be right next to an outlet when using it either, which is nice.

It’s super comfortable to wear and I like the glow . But you still need to wear protection to your eyes. It was pretty intense to my eyes without eye protection.

Wow, I am obsessed with this! This is the highest quality red light and near infrared LED technology I have ever used. It gives you all the benefits of sun, without any heat or UV rays. I love that it has 4 adjustable straps to fit really snug and comfortably on your face. I also love that it is cordless, so you can wear your mask while making breakfast, doing yoga, sitting outside, etc. It feels so high quality and truly boots your mood and enhances your natural glow!

So this is the second LED mask I have purchased. This one is made and perfect for my smaller head. The other one I had was hard plastic and so uncomfortable I just couldn’t make it work at all. I love that this one is able to fit smaller heated people and adjusts all the way around. The inside is comfortable against my skin which is another plus. I do not use enclosed goggles but just prefer to lay down with my eyes closed for the 10 or 20 minutes I have it on. I plan to continue use and hope for amazing results on my skin.

I really like that this product came in such a nice box. Not only that, but there were a plethora of outlet options which makes this really ideal for international travel. Additionally, it is so compact and lightweight that it is such an ideal travel product. The fitting of the product was really nice, especially since I do struggle with things fitting my smaller face. I like that it can be adjusted to your face and it is really relaxing. The instructions are super straight forward and I love to use this product when I am winding down. 10/10 would recommend.

I was excited to receive this Red Light therapy mask but, unfortunately, the controller did not work upon receipt. I live in Japan so returning it is a major hassle. The mask still works when I plug it directly into a USB outlet, but I can’t use the controller. Also, the controller I received did not look like the one pictured. Very disappointed.

I purchased HigherDOSE Red Light Face Mask directly from the company. It stopped working with in the first week and a half. It wouldn’t charge. When I turned it on it only last a couple seconds.I know it happens. The main reason I’m wetting the review is bc dealing with their customer service has been awful. They claim they’re so backed up with thousands of emails due to over selling….so the consumer suffers?Waiting on a replacement cord after multiple calls and unanswered emails this was the solution. We’ll see how it goes.Unfortunately I bought their blanket and large mat (that they over promised and under delivered. Again from over selling!) and now worry those two things are going to be poor quality too.

I used this for months and so little to nothing changes. I really love how portable it is but did not help with my wrinkles or tighten my skin. I bought another led facial mask to see if that will work for me.

After only several uses I have noticed a visible change for improvement in my blemishes. I have been on acutane twice and now am breaking out again. This product is showing promise in just a few days. I have gone from a few cystic type pimples to now just a little redness noted on my skin. I can’t wait to see how my skin looks in a month.
