Solawave Light Therapy Mask Review: Scam or Legit?

Easy to use red light mask, comfortable and easy to wear. The soft plastic is easy to wear while watching tv. Battery does use up pretty quickly but easy to charge .

I absolutely love this Solawave Light Therapy Mask! I have seen a change to my face with using this product. It makes my face feel wonderful and so smooth. I will hope to continue using this product and see how it works as a long term use.

I really liked this Solawave Light Therapy Mask the first few times I used it, but by the 3rd time, the mask would turn off just a few minutes into a session, even thought the battery pack was charged.

Solawave Light Therapy Mask does not fit the face. The nose hole is too low and is at the lips. It’s not comfortable to where. I am returning and trying a different one.

This mask functionality wise does exactly what it is supposed to do and I did keep it however, there is so slight flaws with it. It smells awful and no matter what I do it still stinks terribly. The strap to hold it on is horribly uncomfortable and I cannot use it at all. If I do the mask cuts into my face around my eyes and is very painful so I just use it laying down without the strap. Not quite what I was hoping for but it will do.

I have very good, healthy skin for being 68 years old. I only have fine lines when I smile. I have only used this mask once, so here is what happened. The mask didn’t fit well around my nose and eyes, and I had to hold the chin part of the mask down. The mask for me was very uncomfortable. After using it, my skin did have a healthy glow, so I was happy. But the following day, I awoke to large, thin bags under my eyes; I have never had bagging eyes. My skin feels smooth but paper thin, which it never did. I will take a day off and try it again. But if this mask thins and stretches out your skin to make you have a plumper face, I will return it.

I liked it and used it regularly, but after six months, it stopped working completely. Will not turn on. It advertises a one-year warranty, but I can’t seem to get in touch with the company.

Well worth the price. Has a variety of lighting options to help skin problems. Love this purchase

So before I bought this I saw a lot of folks saying the mask hurt their face – mostly their nose. I thought it wasn’t a big deal. Wrong! It hurt my nose and when I readjust it, it digs into my eyebrow. The problem is I don’t want to wear it bc it hurts so I avoid using the mask, which means I can’t tell you if it works or not.

This was a xmas gift. Since I have not heard from the recipient that something was wrong I have to assume that it worked. The reason for four stars is because I did not use it.

I used this mask for a month and my skin did not like it at all. Whatever the material it is made of did not mesh with my skin. After a treatment my skin would be red and then later I would break out in tiny red bumps. I used the same basic beauty routine when washing and moisturizing but still had issues. As soon as I stopped using it, my skin cleared up. Note: I am in my 50’s and have great skin but evidently I am sensitive to certain silicone based products. Use strong consideration if you have sensitive skin.

Very versatile with all the options. I’ve been using it for a few weeks and I feel like the red light has made a difference in my skin. Would highly recommend.

I loved the product but hated the box it came in. Just throw away the box. It has a very strong smell. I aired out the product and the smell went away. The mask works great and easy to use.

The first one was missing the power cord. A whole replacement unit was sent, but of the 6 colors that are supposed to be available, only the blue color appears. Also the power cord is not very long making it necessary that you sit or lay close to the electrical outlet. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. It’s going back….again!

Love this face mask. The quality is great. Compared to other led masks I have used. This fit is more comfortable and all attachments for controlling lights, time and intensity are solid.

The mask isn’t wearable, even when lying down. If I use it, I hold it over my face. I wouldn’t recommend this item.

I find this product relatively easy to use. The directions were not very helpful but it’s pretty self-explanatory to use. I found that the mask was not super comfortable, especially around the eye area. However, it does feel better without the strap around my head.

Love everything about this red light mask! Affordable, flexible, never heats up and has a timer. I was going to a spa to get my red light therapy, but that got pricey so I decided to buy my own mask. Happy I did! great purchase!

The final verdict is still out but I’m optimistic! The timer and settings are easy to navigate and I pop it on and watch a little TV or read and it’s done before I know it. I set it at 20 mins and do feel my face warm up. Mask fits nicely and is comfortable.

I excitedly opened and turned on my mask. It worked for 3 mins then shut off and never turned back on again. I initiated a return, I paid $129.00 they refunded me $10.00. What kind of business do you run? Where is the rest of my money?

It’s an unfortunate case of getting what you pay for.When it works – it’s nice! I enjoy it WHEN it works. But the cables are extremely finicky. I have to angle it just right so that it even turns on so I can adjust the settings. And even then, 9/10 times I just try to set the controller down and the mask shuts off. I’ve gotten a few uses out of this mask, but more often than not, I get too frustrated with it powering down on me.If you can splurge on a better LED mask, you’d be better off doing so. This was a gamble to purchase on my end, and it’s not great.

The cords don’t fit in the plugs well and are easily dislodged. The mask itself is. Very Heavy and very uncomfortable. I just started using so results are TBD but those are.my first reactions

This thing is a big piece of plastic that is very uncomfortable on your face and has a very short cable you have to keep plugged in. It doesn’t charge. I don’t know how you could sleep with this thing awkwardly smashing your face all night.

I think the mask intent is good, different lights to choose from depending on what you want to target. It does not fit very well on my face. Have to lie dow to use it and always leaves marks around the nose. This is my first one so not sure if that is normal as it’s pretty heavy. Other than that, would recommend.

This mask works alright. It is very uncomfortable to wear but the light does its job. It has many settings and different lights to use. I have been using for about two months now. I havent noticed a big difference on my skin with the red light.

The lights cover my face and neck. It’s easier to lay down while using, as the mask is heavy on the bridge of my nose. The mask has many settings for type of light and duration or pulsing. It’s too soon to really tell if the lights are improving my skin, but it’s worth a shot and the product is working as advertised. It seems like it’s having some affect because I get that scent on my skin that indicates some type of cellular process is taking place, similar to a tanning booth. One con was that the mask smelled strongly of a plastic chemical odor. Thus, It was difficult to keep it on my face for very long but after wiping it down a couple times and airing it,the odor has subsided. I give it a 5 star because it has great potential thus far.

The face mask is great you can adjust the brightness, color and the length of time set on a time. It does have to plugged into the wall the work you can just plug it into the remote, so you do need a outlet to use it. The band that goes around the back of the head is adjustable but it tends to slip off if you are sitting straight up! Other than that it’s great!

I’ve been using this almost every single day. I love it! It’s low key a bit annoying that it plugs into the wall, but you can’t beat the price. I usually wear it watching TV anyways. Hopefully it helps me stay young forever!

This is the second time I have ordered the product. The first mask was purchased less than a year ago. The lights stopped working so Iordered another one that was delivered 1/12/24 Again the lights on the mask do not work.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it and says she is starting to see results from the therapy.

The product works as described. I used it with and without the electrical stimulators that was an option. Did not continue to use the stimulators after trying for about a week. Overall it’s easy to use and I will I noticed some benefit in short time. Skin seems to look better and it was relaxing while using it

I’ve used this mask for around 3 months and it has started malfunctioning recently. When I plug it in it will turn off and I’ll need to restart it. The battery it comes with constantly needs recharge and I find it difficult to use without stopping to turn it on.

This portable LED mask is easy to use and comes with step by step instructions. I am not experiencing any breakouts or redness from using the device for 2 weeks. I’m only using the mask for 15 minutes at a time and only tried the red light. I haven’t seen any result yes since I just recently started to using it. I only gave 4 stars because of the strong plastic smell even after airing it out. The rubber protection for the eyes are also uncomfortable and I wish they could’ve made the cords longer so I can freely move around with the mask on. Other than that I think this product is good quality for the price I paid.

Does not last long . It seems like connection comes loose quick and it keeps flickering not working properly .

After a few days of nightly mask-athons, my skin is doing things it never has before. My pores are tighter than a celebrities’ post-divorce NDA, my fine lines are fading faster than my commitment to any relationship, and my cheeks have a plumpness that would make JLo jealous. Its more than an anti wrinkle mask, its age defying! 10 minute timer plus eye protection is a plus.

I liked this mask at first. It was decently comfortable, had a high number of LEDS, and was a good mask for the price. But unfortunately, like some other reviewers experienced, after a couple of weeks of use I started having a flickering problem with the lights. The flickering was minor at first and easy to ignore, but it’s progressively gotten worse to the point the flickering has gotten annoying and it makes the lights dimmer.

The product seems to be of a good quality. It is too soon to tell about the results, but it looks promising. The mask is comfortable and is easy to use. I would definitely recommend buying it!

Huge mouth space and NO lights in the tiny portion between nose and mouth. You’ve got to have a really big face and huge mouth for this to fit and hopefully no issues above lips between nose. Will return

Got this for my spouse as a gift. She is highly pleased! It works great and is comparable to the other higher-cost name-branded devices. Works like a champ at a fraction of the price!

I can’t speak to how well red light therapy works. They say it does, and i believe them. But I can speak to the comfort and use of this, as I have used a bunch of these masks. I thought this one would be super comfy because it is flexible, but it wasn’t as comfy as I had hoped. It does tighten enough over my head – I have a small head and some of them just don’t get small enough, but this one does. It is VERY bright – the other ones I can wear comfortably without eye protection and read while red-lighting or something, but not this one. Even with the provided tanning goggles, I had to keep my eyes closed. I suppose that’s good for effectiveness, but definitely plan to use it lying down with eyes closed.

Definitely not a miracle but taken some time but I’ve seen some changes in my skin texture and tone. I used 3 times a week before I try it on everyday. I did notice my skin tone is more even.

It seemed to tick all the boxes – lots of LED bulbs in the right IR and NIR wavelengths. The portable power pack is nice. The eye protecting glasses that came with it are VERY uncomfortable. I do not use them, just lay back and close my eyes. However, it doesn’t seem to be working. I have used it religiously for 3 months while also taking Collagen I & III powder. It is too late for me to return it but I will probably buy another brand that is more well known.

This is the second time I have used this with a serum! For 10 minutes and my face was burned!!! I thought it was something else but didn’t use for a while just did it again- and got the same results – not sure if your suppose to do it for 5 minutes vs 10- just be careful !

The material was soft. There was an instruction manual, but the manual didn’t go into detail on how to put the eye prevention piece on. I had to play around with it for a little. After a few days of use, my skin was still red, so I didn’t continue to use it.

So I don’t know if it’s working really but I use this daily and think it’s improved my skin

I’ve been using this mask for awhile and I can honestly say I’m noticing results. It’s helped reduce my redness, made fine lines fade, and gives a brighter complexion. My skin tone looks a lot more even now as well. It’s done more for me than any skincare product has. If you haven’t tried a red light therapy mask yet, just do it. I know it’s pricey, but it’s worth it. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

This is the first time I’m trying a light mask for my face. I’ve heard about them for a while now and thought this looks perfect. I didn’t feel my eyes have the protection they should. I keep my eyes closed, and even with the protectors, I’m not sure it’s enough. You only have to wear the mask a short while a day, and after a few weeks I’m not noticing major changes. I haven’t had any irritation, so I’ll continue using it, but with some better eye protection.

The timer keeps going off before scheduled time however the company I contacted solved my issue

I’ve been meaning to try a LED mask for a while, especially since they seem to have really ballooned in popularity this past year. This mask uses near infrared 850nm lights as well as 630nm (red), 460 (blue), and 590 (yellow) lights to provide different skincare benefits. I do find that the mask is a little heavy for me to wear around the house so I usually set aside 10 min to lay down and use it. While the mask does come with eye protectors, they do not fit the contours of my face well so I am considering getting protection goggles. Overall, I think this LED mask does show promise and is unique that it comes with the inclusion of 850nm light.

I’ve tried several other red light devices, but for the last year or so, I’ve been interested in trying light therapy specifically for the face. I like that this light therapy mask folds down easily for storage. Some of them that I’ve seen look a lot like something a knight would wear in medieval times. I would think those would be harder to store.For me, this mask just doesn’t fit on my face quite right. If the eye holes are lined up correctly, the nose part hangs about halfway between my mouth and my nose, and the mouth is a bit too low. This makes it a bit uncomfortable to wear the mask. It just never feels quite right. I’ve also found that the eye protectors are really uncomfortable. They seem to push into the area around my eyes a bit too much.The eye protectors also don’t seem to do a lot to protect the eyes. I’ve had to close my eyes while using this. The light therapy mask has three intensities (low, medium, and high). It also includes red, blue, and yellow lights. Unlike some devices, you can only use one type of light at a time. Even with that, though, you have nine light options when you take into account the light colors as well as the three intensity levels.I’ve found that I can use the yellow light without any issues. I can even use it with my eyes open for small periods of time. With the blue and red lights, I can use it on the lowest setting with my eyes closed without any issues. Even with my eyes closed, though, the light is too intense on the higher settings, especially with the red light.Overall, I would say that this seems like a nice light therapy mask. Just know that you likely won’t be able to use this while doing other things since you will likely have to close your eyes, even with the eye protectors in place. If you’re like me, you may even want to remove the eye protectors since they actually make the whole experience less comfortable.

I’ve tried a few similar masks and this is my favorite. It’s easy to charge and the charge lasts me for many sessions before I need to recharge. It’s easy to wear while I do other things (watch tv, read, whatever). The eye cups are comfortable and make it easy to look at other stuff while wearing the mask.I know from the science that red light has a lot of benefits and few downsides. This mask makes it easy to use consistently so hopefully I’ll see results in a few months. Only wish it were lower priced — though it is priced competitively to similar devices.

Fits well. This is more comfortable than my Omnilux mask was. Also it has more lights.

It is a cheap product. I had to get instructions via email. The straps are low quality velcro and eye protection is almost nonexistent.The little eye cups leave marks under eyes at the end of the session. The LED red lights stopped functioning all the way 2 days ago.I regret not getting anything more expensive. As they say You get what you pay for. I am looking at other products. I regret making the purchase.

I have to say, I am not super comfortable using this so close to my eyes. I thought the gaskets would block way more of the light than they do. It makes me nauseous to use on my face. That being said, I used it on a recent knee injury and it doesn’t seem as stiff and sore. I think I’ll use it in combination with some actual eye protection and just keep still for a while.

Just ordered Solawave Light Therapy Mask and I love how it fits! It’s flexible and comfortable on the face. Other reviews said it didn’t include instructions and it technically doesn’t, but it tells you what’s in the box and it’s not too difficult to put it together. You need to add the straps and the eye protector parts on the mask but once it’s put together you just choose the level and time. The warmth feels nice and I am looking forward to seeing how my skin improves in a few weeks!

I just purchased Solawave Light Therapy Mask, but cant seem to keep eye guards in place.Please help explain.

This is the best Red Light Therapy device I’ve used for my face. It’s super bright and I can feel some infrared warmth while it’s on. It comes with a little battery pack that has a button to turn it on a 10-minute or 20-minute timer. The battery lasts a long time—I can get countless sessions in before it dies. There are some masks that offer blue light too. I’ve tried a couple of them and prefer the red and infrared light. I’ve often seen blue light touted as the best for acne, but I’ve noticed that red light works for acne and more. Since red light penetrates deeper into the epidermis, it’s a more beneficial use of my time.I’ve been using this mask about every other day for the last three weeks, and my skin actually looks better and clearer than when I began using it. I’ve most enjoyed using this mask in the morning before getting ready for the day. The red light is energizing and stimulating. It’s a feel-good activity to start the day. Because it rests against the skin, I always use it with a clean, dry face without any facial product. The inside of the mask is made of a silicone material that is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth. It’s a flexible mask that could work for any place on the body. The straps are velcro and keep it on your head. It’s easiest to attach the 5 skinny straps first, then take it on and off with the large velcro pads on the back of your head.In the promo photos for this product, it shows the models using this mask with their eyes open. While there are some studies showing that Red Light Therapy is actually beneficial for the eyes, this mask is so bright that I don’t yet feel comfortable using it without the protective eye goggles that came with the device. Even with the goggles on, I can still see red light glowing through the skin around my eyes, so I think it will still be beneficial.

I have always wanted a red light therapy mask for my house and I absolutely love this one. It is a great price point, easy to follow instructions, and feels super relaxing! I hope the results are great as others have mentioned. I bought this specifically for acne and fine lines / wrinkles. I love red light therapy in the spa so why not try it at home.

Lasted just 2 weeks past the 1 year warranty and died. The remote was always finicky. Now if that remote turns on at all, it turns off when you plug the mask USB into it. Sigh. I thought this was a quality brand. Guess I was wrong. Very disappointed.

Even though I’ve only used Solawave Light Therapy Mask twice, I really like it. I used a friend’s hard mask, and this beats that one, hands down.It’s soft and pliable vs a hard face mask. It stays cool for the time that I use it.The only issues I’ve had with it are that the nose piece hurts a bit, and it didn’t come with instructions as to how to put the velcro straps on, but it wasn’t too tough to figure out.An Aesthetician friend told me this was the best ‘bang for my buck.’ Glad I got it.

Maybe mine has a short in it, but regardless of where I plug it in, the red light will randomly flicker.As far as visual improvements, it’s been 6 weeks of 15 min every day with no noticeable differences.More stars for good customer service; they reached out to me and helped resolve.

Solawave Light Therapy Mask has such a great design and is a marked improvement over the hard plastic led light therapy masks. It’s lighter on the face and way more comfortable. I have a flatter face. Also because the silicone is softer and more pliable, it sits closer to the face and the light is more intense; although it does get a little hotter. I don’t mean the lights actually heat- they don’t. But it can get a little sweaty with the silicone touching your entire face. It’ll probably be fine in the winter.I don’t wear this mask and do chores or watch tv. The light bother my eyes and I get headaches. I always just close my eyes and lie down and relax when doing any light therapy. I just count it as part of my de stress time.This mask is pricey. The quality is there though. I’m a huge fan of red light therapy, I’ve been doing it since 2008 when I would go into a salon and purchase 20 minute sessions for $40. So considering I used to do that, this is a deal. But I know these types of items are flooding the market so there are deals to be found. This particular unit is very high quality. I hope the company stands being their product down the road. Everything is fine and dandy the first month, we’ll see and I’ll update if something breaks prematurely. But all indications point to this lasting a long time.

Received this as a gift and I am thrilled! Finally a red light therapy mask that is comfortable and the correct strength to get results! You won’t break the bank getting this one either. I absolutely love this mask although I’ve only used it 3 times. It’s so comfortable and the eye pads are wonderful. Finally comfortable eye pads that actually block the light and you get two pairs. The strong wavelength is what I’d been looking for with infrared included. It has everything I’d been looking for. I’ve had 3 other masks before including the hard plastic kinds and other silicone masks. This one is by far the best one yet. I’m so excited to see results soon. Consistency is key!

Solawave Light Therapy Mask is comfortable and easy to use. I find it very relaxing to use for the 20 minutes. I prefer to lie down and be comfortable. Regarding the performance success, I will not be able to determine for now but am committed to continued. Seems legit.

I love this mask and use it at least 4x a week 20 min a day. I haven’t see many breakouts since Ive been using this and I tend to break out a lot. Customer service is amazing. For the price of this mask compared to the Omnilux ,yes please. This mask has everything and more than the higher priced mask have. I’ve had many compliments on my skin. I’m 50 years old and people always me what I’m using on my skin.

Edit: nope, got worse the next few tries. No better than a cheapo plastic shell oneSo I bought this because I have little time and wanted to combine my biohacking with work hours so I could do this more often. My plan was to use this with my portable sauna and or yoga. It’s not great. The mask is pretty uncomfortable no matter how you adjust it – pulling into my forehead and pushing on my top lip, and it’s barely fastened. Also, there’s no way on gods green earth you’re doing anything with this on, like read, watch YouTube, etc. or work because you can’t see anything. The whole reason I didn’t get stand up lights is because I didn’t want to take a break for it, but that’s the only way.Debating if I should wait to see if I see any results, or send it back to get something way cheaper since this is so disappointing in design

My significant other mocks me a lot for using this, but I was excited to give it a shot. I like the idea of using light therapy rather than going through lots of products. Using it is easy and it feels nice on my face. I got the white one but I think the black on probably looks nicer with the gold lines rather than the pink ones. I wish the white had gold lines too! This product is pricey but very reasonable compared to similar items. I haven’t notices massive skin changes yet but with update this review if that changes.

This mask is the perfect way to diffuse and just zone out for 20 minutes after a long day. My kid knows, when the mask is on, be quiet and leave me alone. I feel like I’m sunbathing with this on and hope to see some of the skin benefits soon. I will update my review if/when that happens.

Seems like my skin texture is significantly more even in tone and texture. Overall improvement in tightness too. It is actually good for your eyes (ocular rosacea and some evidence supports macular degeneration). You still keep your eyes closed. An additional benefit is it’s super relaxing and helps me doze off easier. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it seems to have a loose connection somewhere that makes the light flicker but so far, it’s been a fleeting thing. Overall I’m really glad I bought this. I plan on using it on my forearms next as they have some sun damage.

Wow! Ok! Solawave Light Therapy Mask is just so cool! I have done lots of research about red light therapy and I’ve used several other kinds of red light masks in the past. This face mask is EXCEPTIONAL!The packaging this comes in, is Fabulous! So gorgeous for gifting it keeping for yourself of course! The box comes with Europe plugs and I think some other country plug but I’m not sure for which country(s)? There are 3 different kinds of plugs in the box! So Amazing! In the box there is also a full sleek instruction manual! Again, every item in this box down to the booklet is Prestige!!!I did charge my mask overnight, just because. I think it only requires 4 hours for the first charge if I remember correctly?First, I did struggle with getting this onto my face. I did need my husband to help me with the side straps and securing them. After he helped me we realized that the side straps really never have to be adjusted again. There is a top strap that goes over top your head and then to the very back of your head. This strap comes loose and you can then just slide the entire mask Over the Top of your head to get it off. Oops, my mistake in the beginning. But, I’m glad it ‘clicked’ in my head.The mask has a long yet thin/sleek handle with your timer button on it. It has 10 minute and 20 minutes to choose from. I used 20 my first time. I have experience using red light therapy though and I know how and how long to use it for, for my skin.This mask was super comfortable! I loved it! I do love it! Oh, and it does come with goggles. I do not wear them. And, I try my best to keep my eyes closed during the treatments.If you use this mask 2-4X per week you will see improvements over time! I can always feel the red light on my eyes. I started closing my eyes for the 10 minutes of use because I don’t know if this can damage them.

Ordered it in July during prime day sale. Got a chance to finally get it set up today and use but the power bank it came with won’t charge or work. Connecting it to the outlet while using is a safety hazard and also very inconvenient. To top it all off, paid $100 for this on prime day and they have marked it down to 40% less with the coupon right now.

This Led Face Mask is amazing. I waited for a couple times to use it first before leaving a review. The instructions are very easy to follow and only takes 10 min for the session. My facial skin feels soft and smoother already. I definitely will recommend this to my friends!

Packaging and quality looks and feels excellent, much better than expected. Now let’s wait for results.I did notice that the usb connector gets really hot while using and plugged into the power bank. Let’s see if that will end up being a problem. Wearing it a couple times now, I found it not to be very comfortable, even after various adjustments. I guess I can deal with it for 20 min a couple times per weeks, if it’s effective. I started wearing it without the eye pads; much more comfortable that way.The instruction manual tells you nothing about what the different light levels are used for or Red 660 and near-infrared 850nm level selection.

Only time will tell about this honestly, so far it’s very lightweight and comfortable (silicone material)to wear! One thing you can’t stop is aging unfortunately, so far so good!I love this technology, very easy to use, the differencelights each do different kinds of treatments. Each one seems very beneficial and very effective. It’s definitely a lot cheaper then the spa! Recharging is very simple and last. Very simple to clean. Definitely some great health benefits!

Update to my review. They reached out and sent me a new one free of charge. I really like it and I hope it doesn’t have the same issue as before. So far 10/10.I bought this less than 2 months ago and as I was trying to use it right now, it no longer turns on. I use this once a week, so I’ve used this mask less than 10 times since I received it and it no longer works. It is also past my return date so it’s not like I can get an exchange. How sad, money wasted because I can’t do anything with it or about it anymore.

I love easy skin care! I pick my skin and I feel like this heals my scars better which is making the overall habit much easier to break. Plus they have amazing customer service. Thank you!!

Really good red light mask. Easy to use and stores nicely in bag provided. Can choose the time and strength of light.

I don’t want to put comment coz the customer service is really bad when I contact the seller. But the product is good on my skin! I always have small pimple here and there. And the pimple scar color is dark and always stay on my face it is so much headache specially every morning I need to put concealer to cover each of them before going to work. But after I use this product for the first week obviously my scar had partial fade away. I keep using it for 2 month now my face don’t have much pimple and most of the scar of gone too.

I liked the flexibility of the face mask and the lightness . As far as results, I am not sure if I see any signs of improvement in my complexion

I have tested a couple of these masks and this is by far my favorite. It’s light weight enough to wear while working around the house so I definitely use it more than some if the other heavy ones. It’s super easy to use and the specs seem very comparable to the more expensive brands.I was super excited about getting this gadget because it seems to be the latest anti-aging craze.I don’t know enough about the technology to speak to the science behind it. What I do know is that my skin feels really good after I use it and I feel like it will continue to improve over time.I would recommend it for anyone with problem skin or aging issues that they would like to reverse.

As far as LED face masks go, this is probably the most comfortable that I’ve used. Instead of being a hard plastic shield with lights that sits on the face and feels uncomfortable in places while looking like you are ready to go fight off Klingons, this is a thick, but soft pliable mask with lights. You’ll still look like a cast member of some Sci-Fi film though. Of course, that can be kind of fun. I find that it’s best to lay back and relax while using. It stays on the face with a headband in case you need to move around. You can get up and move around, but I still believe that it’s safer to stay put and keep your eyes shut.The lights are really helpful to treat and condition the skin on your face. Sometimes I stick with the blue lights when my skin is feeling more sensitive and wanting to breakout, while I use the red ones to smooth out my wrinkles. Having mature combination skin, I use all of the different color options at different times for the many different results they provide. They really do help and improve my overall skin quality.

Whenever there is an “at home” spa item I always wonder “am I going to use this?” “how complicated is this?” “will I really get results?”So those are my concerns, but I saw this felt called to try it and ordered it. I am SO SO happy I did. I have been a) using it non stop. b) didn’t have ANY issues putting it on and setting up. c) YES RESULTS.As soon as the light went on, I felt peaceful. Like I was laying under the sun and receiving the benefits of sun bathing or being on the beach. That calm serene feeling is actually way more beneficial then advertised.It’s so well made and even has several plugs to take when you travel making this the perfect item to bring on a vacation. It’s a non-invasive supplement for your mood and skin essentially. I did see a little glow on my skin but I don’t know if that’s coming from my inner peace or the benefits it gives to the skin. I think both.Overall I am so so happy with the ease of this, the details and comfort and the design couldn’t be better. I also use the eye patches which I am happy are included in the package.Definitely consider this a YES and even though I am using it in the summer the real joy will be winter time to feel like I am getting the sun in my bed whenever I want!!! LOVE it.

So pleased with this face mask. Very lightweight, flexible, and easy to use. The lights feel great. I do both the red and blue at night and I feel like my skin is more “glowy” after using. Some of these go for more than twice the price and I can’t see how they would be any better. I also appreciate that it shuts off automatically. The only nit is that it should come with eye protection. I have some from when I used to go tanning (remember those days? Ugh) so I use those but I strongly advise you to get some. Great product!

I’ve been using red light therapy for the past several months, but the devices I’ve previously tried must be plugged into an outlet, forcing me to stop everything and lie down for fifteen to twenty minutes. While I enjoy the sessions, sometimes I’m too busy or tired to consistently keep sessions in my routine. This mask solves that problem by having a rechargeable lithium battery. The battery has a long life and recharges quickly. The flexible mask and silicone eye inserts easily mold to my face, allowing me to read or work while wearing it.This mask is comfortable and easy to use as well. There are three, adjustable neoprene straps that keep the mask in place. The silicone eye inserts keep the light from directly hitting my eyes. I love having a controller that I can reach without straining or removing the device. I also like that this has an auto-off function every five minutes, so I don’t have to set a separate timer. The silicone cover is easy to clean with a disinfectant wipe.I like that this uses 850 nm infrared along with three other visible spectrum lights. Although, I tend to use the red light most often, since my complexion is fairly even and I don’t have acne. While I have only been using this particular device for a few days, my skin has been responding well to red light therapy using other devices. I recently visited an out-of-state friend whom I haven’t seen for a year, and she remarked that she was surprised that I don’t have any wrinkles and asked me to send along skincare tips. As a woman in my forties, I’m definitely seeing fine lines and wrinkles, but I think red light may be preventing and reducing their severity. Red light will be a permanent part of my skincare routine along with drinking lots of water, using sunscreen and moisturizing on a regular basis.

I am new to red light therapy. I love that this is in a mask form so I can put it on and set a timer unlike the handheld devices. At least with this I know I am not missing any areas. The verdict is still out as it will take a lot of uses and time to see if it actually does what it promises.

So far my skin has not broken out in acne and it looks less irritated and has a more even relaxed tone. I love using this in my skin care routine and I need to get another one for my daughter so she will have her own and not ask to use mine lol I am impressed so far!

I’m a huge fan of Solawave Light Therapy Mask. Until trying this one, I had been using a less expensive mask (that one cost about half as much as this one). This one is far better than the one I had been using. The one I had been using was a hard face mask and was very uncomfortable. It was also very heavy. This mask is much lighter, and far more comfortable to wear. This one also does not require you to be plugged into an electrical outlet while using it and that is another big plus.I had been planning to purchase a far more expensive mask (which looks very similar to this mask and costs $395) but when I saw the specifications of this mask I got really excited because the price point is so much more affordable and the specs are very similar to the more expensive mask. In particular the Red 630NM and the Near Infrared (NIR) 820NM are very comparable to the more expensive mask (that one has Red 633NM and NIR 830NM – so they are very close). This mask also exceeds the other more expensive mask by having significantly MORE LED lights – this mask has 288 LEDS compared to 132 in the more expensive mask (note that each LED bulb may contain more than one LED and I’m not referring to the number of bulbs, though this mask also has more bulbs). This mask is very similar to the more expensive mask (design/comfort and the ability to use it while not plugged into a wall). Additionally, this mask also offers Yellow and Blue light therapy, which the other more expensive mask does not (it only provides Red light therapy).The automatic 10 minute timer is also just perfect. I apply my green tea lotion, put the mask on, lie down and listen to a nice meditation while wearing this. It’s so relaxing and really makes my self-care time each morning quite pleasant.Overall, I absolutely love this mask. It’s a huge upgrade for me. It is far better (in comfort and performance) than the previous inexpensive mask I was using, and it’s just as good as the more expensive mask I was considering purchasing (and even better in some ways such as number of LEDs/bulbs and price point). I would happily pay full price for this mask.Tip: When using LED masks for anti-aging, apply a green tea serum or toner prior to using the mask to enhance the effects and speed up your results. I’m particularly fond of this one –  Green Tea Lotion

This LED face mask is lightweight.It is super easy to use.Won’t be seeing any positive results in a short period of time.It is way cheaper than going to the SPA and doing the exact same thing.Works both for men and women.

Might be too soon to see results but as far as using the mask it’s pretty easy. Comfy to wear. Now if you are going somewhere don’t use it cause it will leave a temporary mark around your eyes. Other than that. LOVE ITTTTTT

Very easy to use. Love the power bank so you don’t have to deal with short electric cords. The mask is flexible and lightweight. Much better than my previous 2 LED masks that were hard plastic and uncomfortable,

Easy to pack for travel, as it lays flat. Power bank doesnt last more than two sessions, tho, so I now plug it directly into the wall with a USB adapter. However, this was not practical at a hotel that had the outlet far from the bed.Also, I wish it didn’t have the mouth cut out, as i’d like to treat the lips!

Using the mask can be a little cumbersome sometimes but it’s rather easy to put on. Quick 15 minute sessions everyday have yielded some results. First thing I noticed was my skin was brighter. Which I’m convinced it’s because my skin was clearer and smoother. Secondly I have few small patches of vitiligo but my complexion is fair so you can’t ever tell but I know it’s there. I have noticed that those patches are gaining some color back which I thought couldn’t happen. I did some research and some studies show some promise with light therapy so I’m excited.

The device would not start after charging. Therefore, I never got to use the device. Very disappointed because I really wanted to try the product.

I bought this product direct from the company. I absolutely loved it until it stopped working. I emailed the company and they asked me to send a video. I emailed them a video and then they asked for another video. Not sure how many videos I need to send to show the mask does not work. Needless to say, customer service never handled the issue. I will be buying from a different company.

This mask is nicely packaged and easy to use. The instructions are a little perfunctory, but I was able to fill in the gaps. I have use this mask for about three weeks on the lowest setting for 10 minutes three times a week. Unfortunately, my complexion became worse. I didn’t have bad skin or problem skin to begin with. However, I do have sensitive skin, and after using this mask, I broke out in the exact same spot on both of my cheeks. I also have a break out in the center of my forehead. This just wasn’t for me.

I usually have very positive experiences with red light therapy but I have not noticed a difference with this and it kinda just burns my skin so I will not be using this anymore

First, I get the intent with the design. And kudos! The only reason I took off one star is the mask is unlikely to fit a wide tangle of people…well wearing it at least. I have a very thin face and it fits me, but it would be hard to strap on if one’s face is much bigger. Other than that, this is loaded with features – a power pack with 2 usb connection capability, an easy to read timer, eye cups that easily fit in the mask and help with holding it away from your face. By the way, one is encouraged to use non greasy anti aging products underneath…which is cool. Would absolutely recommend, it’s just if one’s face is round or anything but thin, you’ll likely not be able to use the “wear a mask” feature. It has plenty of coverage – the strap system might just be too short.

Using for 3 weeks and can tell a difference in my complexion. Smooth and healthy looking skin. I’m 52 and recommend.

It’s a flexible silicone that isn’t as heavy or claustrophobic as some of the hard molded masks can feel. It stays put well enough when on that you can do chores while wearing it.It’s quite relaxing to use, even if the other benefits only come slowly and with very regular use.

I’m no stranger to the red light (near infrared and red) so when I found this face mask I was so excited. I loved its comfort, mix of lights, levels of intensity and that the eye pieces are separate. I know the light are really beneficial already for many things even for the eyes. There are peered reviewed articles on macular degeneration and near infrared light out there. The IR light prevents and slows MD down. I like that the mask allows some light to your eyes. The first time I used it, it was great. The second time it suddenly turned off and didn’t turn back on. I waited a few hours and it turned on, but again suddenly turned off.Since it wasn’t reliable or predictable, I sent it back. Hoping to find another face mask that works better with all those same qualities. **Since I’ve written this, the company did reach out to me a few days later and offered to replace my mask, which was honorable. ***As promised my face mask arrived and so far so good. Thank you Hottoerak for honoring your word! I highly recommend this company

-I have not used it enough to see if it does what it states but it is very comfortable to wear.-Short term results I feel like my skin had less redness after the first 2 weeks.-I love that it is rechargeable so that I can use it anywhere and not be tied to a plug in.-It comes with a nice storage bag.

I really love this mask except the cord wasn’t strong enough—it pulled away from the infrared unit just last week only after 2 months use. And the eligibility for it to be returned just has passed. Very frustrating. Too expensive to work such a short time.

Theoretically this is supposed to help your skin. I’m not sure if it actually does that, but it doesn’t hurt to try! The material is soft on the skin. It seems like a good quality product, just not sure if it is worth that much money.

I’ve notice a difference while using this product I really like the product the only complaint I have is the lights are so bright it hurts my eyes.I definitely would recommend just because it really does work!

I have not tried a red light therapy face mask before so I don’t have a good comparison, but this is not the most comfortable device to use. Luckily it only suggests a 10 minute cycle so that is not too bad. The nose piece is a little stiff so depending on the shape and size of your nose it could be uncomfortable. The quality of the mask seems to be good. The controller is simple and is easy to use. I am on the fence on whether the red light therapy is effective. It is difficult to see the results. Overall, this device is good quality, but may be a bit uncomfortable to wear for some users.

Solawave Light Therapy Mask is great for healing inflammation around your face, and for me specifically my sinuses. After multiple sessions I genuinely felt an overall positive relief. However, I also have a couple of gripes including: the red lights are SO bright and I wish there was eye protection; the mask eventually gets uncomfortable after 5 minutes and becomes a bit suffocating.One added bonus – if you have toddlers or a dog and need some personal space, slap this mask on and you’ve got a peaceful 5-10 minutes of free time!At $139.99, I’d like to see a bit more thought into breathable fabric and eye protection, but the red light therapy does indeed relieve my symptoms!

Solawave Light Therapy Mask has been incredible for my skin, my skin is so clear and glowy now! It also reduced redness and made my skin more even. I also find it very relaxing, love the at home spa experience! I’ve made my red light mask a part of my morning routine! It’s so easy to use. The materials feel high quality and it’s very well made. The packaging is gorgeous, I love that it comes with international chargers for travel. There are also nice goggles included. The mask is very comfortable and it’s really great that it’s cordless so I can wear it while I’m doing pilates or during other tasks. I am so happy with this purchase! 10/10 recommend!

I haven’t used this product for long but am already pleased with how well it’s made. The straps are really easy to velcro and the mask is sturdy, yet comfortable. The lights are definitely bright, but the goggles prevent that from being an issue. The cord is super long so you don’t need to be right next to an outlet when using it either, which is nice.

This is a fantastic package that includes everything you could need. It even comes with a portable power bank, so you can wear this and not need to be plugged into the wall. After using this, I can definitely feel a sensation on my skin. I don’t know if it is helping yet, but it’s definitely not hurting. And yes, at it’s highest setting, the red light can be almost too bright, even if your eyes are closed. But if you just lower the light level one or two notches on the control pad, the brightness is no longer an issue. I’m trying this on top of my head as well, since red light therapy may help with hair growth.

Please read the instructions and I would also recommend watching some videos on how to use this first. All in all, this is a good quality, mask style red light therapy device that is easy to use.

Nice quality, soft, silicone mask. Fits my face well (average size face). Produces a bright red light. Great for focused use on face when I need more than my red light box. Nose pops forward for a comfortable fit. A bit on the pricey side but the quality matches the price.

It’s super comfortable to wear and I like the glow . But you still need to wear protection to your eyes. It was pretty intense to my eyes without eye protection.

Wow, I am obsessed with this! This is the highest quality red light and near infrared LED technology I have ever used. It gives you all the benefits of sun, without any heat or UV rays. I love that it has 4 adjustable straps to fit really snug and comfortably on your face. I also love that it is cordless, so you can wear your mask while making breakfast, doing yoga, sitting outside, etc. It feels so high quality and truly boots your mood and enhances your natural glow!

I am no stranger to red light therapy however using an LED red light facemask is indeed new for me. As I am already a believer in the benefits of red light therapy, which can stimulate cellular activity and reduce inflammation, the potential benefit of using a mask such as this seems like a good opportunity to apply some of those benefits to the area of my face. The mask itself is more comfortable than I thought it would be, cool to the touch and very pliable and smooth. One concern that I had was that it would have a strong scent that would bother me… this was not the case, I actually like the smell. It will take a little bit of discipline to put this on and wear it for the recommended 10 to 20 minutes, 3 to 4 times a week… But I highly recommend utilizing a portable power bank as the power source as it allows for portability, so that you can walk around and do things while using it. There is a USB connection that allows for this. In addition, this greatly minimizes the electric field that your body will be exposed to. All in all, while my first reaction to this admittedly involved some hesitation just because it looks silly, I am pleasantly surprised, and I find that I really like this product.

I am a true believer that red light therapy helps with circulation and quicker healing time after an injury or surgery.Have never tried red light therapy on my face so I was excited to try this.first, I like that it comes with eye protection. Something I was worried about when I ordered this. Secondly I like the material this is made with. It’s a softer silicone type material that is comfortable to have on my face. Looks like it would be nice for any face shape.I’m older so my skin isn’t as elastic as it used to be. I’m hoping, with continued use, this helps my skin look and feel younger and softer. I’m also hoping that this might help with the few age spots that I have on my face.This suggests using 3-4 times a week. Right now I’ve only used it 4 times. Most weeks I’ll probably only do it 2-3 times because of my schedule.Very easy to use. So far I’m liking how my skin is starting to feel.

This red light therapy mask comes with all the bells and whistles, including a portable power pack if you want to use this on the go. I know red light therapy is good for you but I couldn’t use this thing for more than a few seconds – the lights are blindingly bright, even with your eyes closed- it’s kind of trippy actually, but not in a fun way. The eye pieces that you attach for light protection dont really do much to filter out light whatsoever, and they aren’t very comfortable. I could tolerate discomfort if that was the only issue, but there was no way I was going to be able to tolerate that level of brightness for 10/15/20 min as recommended so I can’t evaluate the efficacy of the light’s skin benefits. However, the device seems very well made and even comes with an AC/Dc wall adapter which is rare these days when most things only come with just the charging cord and not the block to plug it into.

This comes in retail packaging for gifting and seems to be a quality unit. I’ve never used this type of beauty product before so I can’t vouce for it’s effectiveness yet but I look forward to seeing results!

The wife is a huge proponent of red light therapy, so she is super stoked about this new model. She has all the prior models, but this brings a few new upgrades to the table. The most obvious difference is the material the mask is made of. Instead of a hard plastic or a thin plastic sheet, this has a nice, flexible silicone surface that will conform and fit to more faces, while being much more comfortable as well. One possibly significant upgrade is the “eye cups”. These shield your eyes from being exposed to the light, which the other models did not. Although the jury is still out on the effects of red light therapy on eyes, most devices come with sunglasses to err on the side of caution and protect your eyes. It’s kind of scary that the other models don’t address this and let your eyes sit there exposed to the light. There are 2 sizes of eye shields included to protect your eyes. Is this mask worth almost 3x the cost of the prior models? Not so sure about that…. but maybe the eye protection alone is worth it.

Red light therapy is my favorite part about my skin appointments and I am so thrilled to have found a way to do it at home. This product is high quality and works great! I haven’t been using it long and can already see a difference in my skin and the inflammation. I can’t wait to continue use.

This smells really strongly of horrible chemicals. So strong that it caused a migraine. I am hoping the smell will air out so I can actually use it on the regular. It’s a bit hard around the nose. There is no padding in that area. Kind of uncomfortable. The hard spot left an indentation on my nose. Red light therapy is great for the skin. This just needs some tweaks to improve the product.

So this is the second LED mask I have purchased. This one is made and perfect for my smaller head. The other one I had was hard plastic and so uncomfortable I just couldn’t make it work at all. I love that this one is able to fit smaller heated people and adjusts all the way around. The inside is comfortable against my skin which is another plus. I do not use enclosed goggles but just prefer to lay down with my eyes closed for the 10 or 20 minutes I have it on. I plan to continue use and hope for amazing results on my skin.

I really like that this product came in such a nice box. Not only that, but there were a plethora of outlet options which makes this really ideal for international travel. Additionally, it is so compact and lightweight that it is such an ideal travel product. The fitting of the product was really nice, especially since I do struggle with things fitting my smaller face. I like that it can be adjusted to your face and it is really relaxing. The instructions are super straight forward and I love to use this product when I am winding down. 10/10 would recommend.

I was excited to receive this Red Light therapy mask but, unfortunately, the controller did not work upon receipt. I live in Japan so returning it is a major hassle. The mask still works when I plug it directly into a USB outlet, but I can’t use the controller. Also, the controller I received did not look like the one pictured. Very disappointed.

I purchased this directly from the company. It stopped working with in the first week and a half. It wouldn’t charge. When I turned it on it only last a couple seconds.I know it happens. The main reason I’m wetting the review is bc dealing with their customer service has been awful. They claim they’re so backed up with thousands of emails due to over selling….so the consumer suffers?Waiting on a replacement cord after multiple calls and unanswered emails this was the solution. We’ll see how it goes.Unfortunately I bought their blanket and large mat (that they over promised and under delivered. Again from over selling!) and now worry those two things are going to be poor quality too.

I’ve been eyeing Solawave Light Therapy Mask for a long time and finally got one. I love the way it makes my skin feel and how quick and easy it is to use. My skin feels immediately fresher and rejuvenated after I use it. I used Solawave Light Therapy Mask for months and so little to nothing changes. I really love how portable it is but did not help with my wrinkles or tighten my skin. I bought another led facial mask to see if that will work for me.

After only several uses I have noticed a visible change for improvement in my blemishes. I have been on acutane twice and now am breaking out again. This product is showing promise in just a few days. I have gone from a few cystic type pimples to now just a little redness noted on my skin. I can’t wait to see how my skin looks in a month.
